1. Why caps
A cap is the one piece of clothing almost everybody wears and almost nobody thinks about, until it has their name on it. Then it becomes the cap they grab first. A trucker with GRANDPA EST. 2025 across the front, a golf cap that remembers the day the ball dropped on the seventh, a beanie with a kid’s name on the cuff, twelve matching STAFF caps for the people running a summer festival: these are small things that people keep for years.
That is what Cap Craze is built around. We do not try to sell every kind of clothing. We focus on caps and beanies, the styles people actually wear, and on making personalisation simple enough that anyone can order in a couple of minutes.
2. What we make
Trucker hats
Tall structured fronts, breathable mesh backs and snap closures. Truckers carry bold names, loud graphics and business logos better than any other shape, and they are the hat of choice for hot days, job sites and the lake. We also offer a lower-profile trucker for people who find the classic crown too tall. Shop trucker hats.
Baseball caps
Two everyday shapes: the soft, unstructured dad hat that relaxes to your head, and the structured six-panel cap that keeps a crisp outline for logos. We add corduroy and washed vintage versions for people who want texture and a broken-in look. Shop baseball caps.
Golf caps
Lightweight, quick-drying caps with pre-curved brims, a classic rope cap, a perforated cap for hot rounds, a closed-back fitted cap in two sizes and an unstructured one that packs flat. Golf caps are also our most-gifted range, from hole-in-one caps to spoof club crests. Shop golf caps.
Beanies
Cuffed, pom-pom, slouchy and short fisherman styles in stretch knit, with names and initials on the cuff or a small label. Beanies take over when cap season ends and make easy matching gifts for families. Shop beanies.
Across those styles, our collections are also arranged by why you are buying: Crew & Logo Caps for teams and businesses, Name & Family Caps for dads, grandpas, moms and kids, and Hobby & Fun Caps for fishing, camping, grilling, pets and golf jokes.
3. Our designs
Every ready-made design in the shop is our own: a leaping bass drawn in a single line, a mountain ridge with a tiny tent, three sunset stripes with a seventies script, an EST. badge, a hole-in-one badge, a crossed-clubs outing layout and a Mulligan Club crest that belongs to no real club. They are drawn to sit well on the shape of a cap, with room for your text where it reads best.
We keep our designs simple on purpose. A cap is a small, curved canvas that people see from a few feet away. Big shapes, clear lettering and one or two strong colours survive that distance; tiny details and long sentences do not. When you choose a design, the product page tells you how much text fits and where it goes.
4. What we will not put on a cap
Caps are one of the most copied products around: team logos, brand names and famous characters end up on hats every day without permission. We do not do that. We do not use professional, college or school team logos, brand marks or characters unless the customer has permission, and we do not make “lookalike” versions. We also refuse text that is hateful, threatening or obscene. You can read the details in our Intellectual Property Policy.
That still leaves a lot of room: your name, your crew’s own logo, your family, your town, your lake, your dog, your terrible golf swing.
5. How personalisation works
We wanted ordering a custom cap to be as easy as ordering a plain one, so there are no design tools to learn and no upload plugins to fight with:
- Pick your cap. Choose the style, colour and, where offered, the size: Adult or Youth on selected caps, S/M or L/XL on the fitted golf cap.
- Tell us the words. At checkout, type the name, initials, date or text in the Order notes box, exactly as you want it. Ordering several caps? Number them and match the order of your cart.
- Send a file if you need one. For a logo or a photo, reply to your order confirmation email and attach it. A transparent PNG or a vector file gives the cleanest result.
- We make it and ship it. Processing takes 1-3 business days, then your parcel ships from the USA.
We use exactly what you write and exactly the file you send. There is no proof or mockup step, which keeps orders moving quickly. It also means a quick re-read before you pay is worth it. If you spot a mistake, you have 24 hours to change it, as explained in Cancel or Change an Order.
6. Fit matters
A cap that does not fit gets left in the car. That is why each product page names its shape (high-crown trucker, low-profile trucker, unstructured dad hat, structured six-panel, fitted golf, cuffed or fisherman beanie) and its closure (snapback, strap with slide, hook-and-loop, closed stretch back). Our Size Guide explains how to measure your head, what the different crowns feel like and how to choose between Adult and Youth or between two fitted sizes. If you still get it wrong, exchanges are part of our normal 60-day returns.
7. Who orders from us
- Family gift-givers looking for something personal for Father’s Day, birthdays, retirements and reunions.
- Golfers and their friends marking a hole-in-one, a buddy trip or a weekly foursome.
- Small businesses and crews such as landscapers, cleaners, roofers and food trucks who want everyone to look like one team.
- Event organisers who need caps that say STAFF, CREW or VOLUNTEER in letters you can read across a field.
- Outdoors people who want a cap for the boat, the trail or the campfire with their name on it.
- Parents ordering matching adult and youth caps, or a kids beanie for the first snow.

9. Things we keep simple on purpose
- No fake urgency. No countdown timers, no “only 3 left”, no invented “people are viewing this” messages.
- No made-up reviews or badges. When customer reviews appear, they will come from verified buyers only.
- No hidden costs. Personalisation is included in the price and shipping is free to the four countries we serve.
- No upsell maze. Pick a cap, write your text, pay. That is the whole process.
10. Where we ship
Every order ships from the USA. We deliver to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, free and with no minimum order. Parcels to Canada, Australia and New Zealand cross a border and travel within the same 7-14 business day window in most cases. We do not ship to other countries at the moment, but you can send a cap from anywhere to someone in one of those four countries.
11. Looking after your cap
A personalised cap lasts longer with a little care. Most of our structured caps and truckers should be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap, then left to air dry on something round, like a bowl or a rolled towel, so the crown keeps its shape. Soft dad hats, washed caps and corduroy caps prefer a gentle hand wash in cool water. Beanies are happiest washed by hand and dried flat. We do not recommend washing machines, dryers or dishwasher “hacks” for any cap, because heat and tumbling can warp a brim and wear a design. Each product page repeats the care note for that style.
12. Choosing colours
On truckers, colour names list the front first and the mesh second, so Orange/White means an orange front with white mesh. On rope golf caps, the second colour is the rope. We choose the colour of your text or design to contrast with the cap, so a name stays readable from a distance. If you want a particular text colour, ask us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will read well on the cap you picked. Colours can look slightly different on different screens; if a colour is not what you expected, it can be exchanged within 60 days.
13. Caps as gifts
Caps make easy gifts. You can ship straight to the person you are surprising: enter their address as the shipping address and keep your own email at checkout so the order and shipping emails come to you. Anything you type in Order notes is treated as text for the cap, so please do not use it for messages to the recipient. Our parcels do not show prices on the outside.
14. Talk to us
Real questions get real answers. Whether you want to know if a nickname fits on a rope cap, how to send a logo for eight crew truckers or which beanie is warmest for the lake in November, email support@capcraze.shop. We reply within 24 hours on business days. You will also find quick answers in our FAQs and the Help Center.
